Remove the T-bolt handle (turn counter clockwise).

 

Lift top half of case from spool end first to allow the retainer clip securing the case halves at the tip end to disengage.

 

Select wire to be used. Unroll a few inches of wire, making sure to hold the coil firmly to prevent "bird nesting." Clip off the end of the wire, leaving 3 to 4 inches of straight wire.

Place the spool of wire in the spool housing of the gun, being sure to hold the wire firmly to prevent it from loosening on the roll. Press the red lever and insert the wire between the rollers into the slot. Be sure to feed the wire parallel to the flat surface of the brass bracket. The wire should feed quickly and easily.

 

Install the gas diffuser and tip. Always install the nozzel cup and insulator, as the tip is always hot This will help prevent accidental arcing.
